As part of Celanese's acetyl derivatization strategy, the redispersible polymer powder product line helps drive the growth of the VAE emulsion business

DALLAS, AMSTERDAM and SHANGHAI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Celanese Corporation (NYSE: CE), a global chemical and specialty materials company ® The acquisition of the redispersible polymer powder business provided by the brand.

After the completion of the acquisition-after meeting all necessary closing conditions, regulatory and working committee requirements-Celanese has obtained Nouryon's global production facilities for redispersible polymer powders in Europe and Asia, under the Elotex® product portfolio. Ownership of all products and all customer agreements, global technical and commercial facilities.

Celanese will integrate its Elotex® product portfolio and production facilities into its global vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE) emulsion business to further meet global product demand. Elotex® has production facilities in the following locations:
